ABOUT ME My Name is Louie. I'm a photographer and set stylist based in Tokyo, Japan. My career in Japan began as a model and content creator, where I developed a passion for crafting beautiful spaces that reflect individual personalities. Life took a twist, and I went on to become an athlete. This background in modeling and athletics has given me a unique understanding of how bodies move and pose. My goal is to make you and your loved ones feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, and to make your true selves shine through in every shot. Growing up in a single-mother household, I often envied those with large families. When I started my own family, I made it a priority to capture our journey through family portrait photoshoots. As our family expanded to include rescue dogs, it became increasingly challenging to find the perfect opportunities and locations for the photos I envisioned…. And thus Studio Sunny was born. My style is organic and natural, with a touch of whimsy. I love getting creative and draw inspiration from various art forms.

STUDIO SESSIONS Our studio is a cozy home setup, bathed in natural light and located just a 15-minute walk from Nakano Station. For those bringing along their furry friends, we have a dog run just 5 minutes away, allowing your pups to release any stress before or after the photoshoot. Due to the intimate size of our studio, we can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2-3 small children and or pets such as dogs, cats & other. Please keep in mind that this is an aproximative number to give you an idea of the size of our space. Our backdrops are crafted from deadstock fabric, providing a soft painterly look and a comfortable surface for pets to step on. For those gloomy days when extra lighting is needed, we have two softbox lights to ensure your photos turn out beautifully. The basic backdrop colors available are cream and bone (a cool-tone white), but we can provide custom colors and fabrics depending on the mood you’d like to portray. Additionally, we offer a selection of seating options, including minimalist clear chairs, a ,and various rugs and decor pieces to enhance your photoshoot experience. Studio Shoots typically lasts around 1hour to 2hours long depending on outfit numbers and HMU needs. All our shoots include a pre-photoshoot consultation via zoom for us to make your visions come true. Book Your Shoot ! LOVE STORY SESSION Our "Love Story Shoot" is a customizable half-day to full-day photography session, lasting anywhere from 2 hours to a full day, depending on the number of outfits or locations you'd like to include. Before the shoot, we'll arrange a quick Zoom call where I’ll get to know your unique story, discuss potential locations (or multiple spots for longer sessions), and collaborate on outfit ideas and the overall vibe you’re envisioning. If custom props or bouquets are part of your vision, we’ll plan for those during our meeting as well. Following our discussion, you’ll receive a tailored mood board and outfit recommendations, delivered within a day after our call, ensuring every detail is aligned for your perfect shoot.
